On coming back to the lodge they informed “SOS” about the accident and kept away from contacts with “SOS” and Swedish Embassy. The baggage of the dead guy was left at our lodge.----- Next day they left Russia and we had to give information to “SOS”, Swedish Embassy and other organizations and solve problems of transportation of the body and the baggage together with Swedish Embassy.----- Not long after another Swedish climber arrived in our lodge and asked to find and give back Mathias’s ski poles which he had left in the Barrels. We did it. Unfortunately, Mathias forgot about our guide’s ski poles which he had broken when he descended.
