We answer that question frequently by email. Once again about this with a sample of 2004 season. ------------- Generally our answer is: The period of end May to end September is the best and these month are about equal if we say about the chance of bad weather. It's more cold in late August and September, it is more icy in August-September, there may be much snow than we need in May-June.. July seems good but actually it may have disadvantages from August or June depending on a current year. ------ About 2004: the best weather in the season was in September - starting from 14th there was perfectly good weather until the end of the month (same as for the season of 2003 and 2002). Moreover people report that weather was perfect a couple of weeks at the beginning of October.. while all summer months were pretty rainy.
