find a person who can speak a bit English (other languages are virtually
unknown). It is possible to ask for booking and they may confirm the
booking but nobody is responsible. That means that you never really know
if you have a room or not. However in summer there is no problem to find
a room, so no need to book in advance. The only really tight periods
are: April 28-May10 and December 30-January 10 - main Russian holidays.
